TikTok sound as alarm: how it works in four steps
- Find the video. Open the TikTok, YouTube video or Instagram reel whose sound you want to wake up to.
- Share the link to AlarmiFex. Tap Share, then pick AlarmiFex. On iPhone it appears in the share sheet and opens the app for you.
- Trim and name it. AlarmiFex pulls the audio and shows a trim screen. Drag the handles to keep the part you want, up to 1:00, and give it a name.
- Set it as your alarm. Pick repeat days, a label and volume like any other alarm. Your clip also stays in My Sounds, where you can rename, re-trim or delete it.
The pulled audio is saved on your phone, so the finished alarm plays from a saved file with no connection needed. Test your setup before you rely on it.
YouTube video as alarm
A YouTube link works the same way. Share the video, trim to the line, riff or laugh you like, and save it. This is handy for a spoken pep talk, a theme you grew up with or a short sound that makes you smile. For a longer walkthrough, read how to use a YouTube video as an alarm.
Instagram reel as alarm
Saw a reel with the perfect audio? Tap Share on the reel, copy or send its link to AlarmiFex and trim the sound. Reels are short already, so you often keep most of it. Our guide to the TikTok sound as alarm flow covers the same steps in more detail.
What links work
- Public video and reel links. Links from TikTok, YouTube and Instagram are the main use. Share the post link from the app or browser.
- Links with audio. A post needs a sound track to become an alarm sound.
- Not supported. Private or age-gated posts and links with no audio. Plain text with no web link cannot be used.
- Sometimes it fails. If a link cannot be turned into a sound, AlarmiFex tells you. Try again or share a different link. On Android you can ask to be notified when a sound is ready.
To pull the audio, AlarmiFex sends the link you share to its servers, then downloads only the audio. The finished sound is stored privately on your device. Prefer a file you already have? You can also import audio or video from your phone, see custom alarm sounds.
iPhone and Android
On iPhone, AlarmiFex adds a share extension, so it shows up in the share sheet of other apps. On Android, share the link as text to AlarmiFex. In both cases, saving the finished sound as an alarm needs a subscription. AlarmiFex is free to download. See AlarmiFex for iPhone or for Android.
Respect the people who made it
Sounds in videos belong to their creators and rights holders. AlarmiFex is for your own alarm on your own phone: sounds you save stay private and are never shared or published. Do not repost, sell or redistribute them.
