Will My iPhone Alarm Go Off on Do Not Disturb?

Do Not Disturb does not silence an alarm set in Apple's Clock app. The same applies to other Focus modes. You can keep notifications quiet overnight while keeping a Clock alarm enabled. Apple confirms this in its alarm support documentation.
Focus and alarm settings do different jobs
Focus controls interruptions such as notifications. An alarm has its own time, repeat schedule, sound and volume settings. Adding Clock to an allowed-notifications list is not the fix for an incorrectly configured Clock alarm.

If you woke up late with Focus enabled
The timing alone does not establish that Focus caused the problem. Work through the observable checks:
- Open the alarm and confirm the intended day and time. Check whether it repeats or was a one-time alarm.
- Make sure it has an audible sound selected.
- Check its volume controls. See our Silent mode guide for the differences between iOS 26 and iOS 27 settings.
- Run a short test with the same Focus enabled and the screen locked. Record whether it rang, was faint, or did not appear.
- If problems persist, use a separate backup for your next important morning and seek support with your iPhone model, iOS version and the exact alarm type.
A test can identify an immediate configuration issue. It cannot prove that you will hear or respond to every future alarm.
How AlarmiFex handles Focus
AlarmiFex schedules alarms using Apple's AlarmKit rather than relying on a reminder notification to play a song. Apple documents AlarmKit alerts through Focus and Silent mode. The app still needs alarm authorization; permission to send ordinary notifications is a separate question.
